Mechatronics Engineer, Bilingual

 

Our company is looking for a qualified Electronics Engineer, with a Bachelors Degree in mechatronics from a recognized South American institute.  The successful candidate will be fluent in the speaking, reading, and writing of Spanish.  This will involve much travel to and from the South American area, (expenses covered by HARD-LINE) so as to assist in coordinating projects that HARD-LINE takes on in that market.  Therefore, the successful candidate will need to be acclimated to difficult mining related conditions.  (For example: Very high altitudes, over 4,700 metres)  This individual will also need to have the ability to meet tight deadlines, work under pressure, work in a fast-paced environment, show attention to detail, engage in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking (walking for significant lengths of time in some incidences), stand for extended periods, and handle heavy loads.

This is a permanent, full time position, which involves being on call, working overtime weekends, days, nights, and evenings.  Salary is to be negotiated, and although the position involves extensive travel, the base operation of the employment would be at the Dowling headquarters in Northern Ontario.

October 22, 2007 - At an awards gala held in St. John's, Newfoundland, Walter Siggelkow, president accepted the EDC sponsored Innovation Award for Diversification of Export Markets.
