Electronics Engineer, (Project Manager - South America) Bilingual Our company is looking for a qualified Electronics Engineer, with a Bachelors Degree from a recognized South American institute, and between 1 and 2 years of experience in this field. The successful candidate will be fluent in the speaking, reading, and writing of Spanish. This will involve much travel to and from the South American area, (expenses covered by HARD-LINE) so as to coordinate projects that HARD-LINE takes on in that market. Therefore, the successful candidate will need to be acclimated to difficult mining related conditions. (For example: Very high altitudes, over 4,700 metres) This individual will also need to have the ability to meet tight deadlines, work under pressure, work in a fast-paced environment, show attention to detail, engage in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking (walking for significant lengths of time in some incidences), stand for extended periods, and handling heavy loads. The following specific skill set is required. Designing of electrical and electronic components, systems, and equipment Inspecting the installation and operation of electrical and electronics systems and equipment Developing maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment Reading text Document use Numeracy Writing Oral communication Working with others Problem solving Decision making Critical thinking Job task planning and organizing Significant use of memory Finding information Computer use Continuous learning Wage: $35.50/hour. This is a permanent, full time position, which involves being on call, working overtime weekends, days, nights, and evenings. Salary is to be negotiated, and although the position involves extensive travel, the base operation of the employment would be at the Dowling headquarters in Northern Ontario. |
