Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most commonly asked Hard-Line questions.

What type of industrial equipment can Hard-Line remote control?

Virtually anything. Any make or model, new or old. The only deciding factor is cost, but generally we can remote control all industrial equipment. The most common applications are rock breakers, drills, load haul dumps, wheel loaders, excavators, dozers, and locomotives.

What type of turnaround time does Hard-Line require?

Depending on the machinery and location, Hard-Line typically requires 4 to 6 weeks.

Can underground machinery be operated from surface?

Yes. Hard-Line’s Teleop Remote Control System allows an operator to control a machine from surface or mobile vehicle.

Are discounts available for fleets?

Yes, the number of machines having remote controls installed would lower the cost.

Is geographical location a problem?

No, Hard-Line technicians travel the globe and can install on location, including remote locations.

Does Hard-Line operate in the Open Pit industry?

Yes. Almost half of the install we do are for open pit mining.

What are your hours of operation?

We are open Monday to Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm.
