CIM Vancouver 2010 – May 9 – 12th

The theme for this year’s CIM Conference and Exhibition was Mining – Your Foundation for a Better World.  The exhibition was held at the Vancouver Convention Centre in Vancouver, BC, - an excellent setting for such a well organized convention.  HARD-LINE’s display was a success, as it highlighted the new technology being offered by our research and development department.

This included the display of several different services available from HARD-LINE’s brand new mining division, such as the Advanced Fill Bag Containment System, Guide Cutting & Profiling, and New Shaft Guide Sales.  In addition, the sales team showcased HARD-LINE’s Mobile Tele-Operation Cabins, with a mock up of an actual tele-operation station.  The mobile tele-operation cabins allow for this valuable HARD-LINE product to be installed in a remote portable cabin – saving time, heightening operator safety (and comfort levels!) and providing an opportunity for a greater percentage of the workforce to operate equipment.

These new services were met with great enthusiasm from delegates there.  The sales team received many inquiries and established sales contacts, coming away from the show with qualified leads.
