Brake Remote Control
Hard-Line RRC
The brake release unit is used when a remote controlled machine is stuck in the stope with the brakes applied and no way to release them. The Hard-Line Remote Brake Release Unit was developed to allow an easy solution for this situation.
The operator types in a 4 digit code and then holds the release button on a compact transmitter. Each machine is equipped with a separate hydraulic pumping system and a hydraulic circuit to release the machine’s brakes.
Once the brake pressure is met, the hydraulic pump is stopped. If the hydraulic pressure drops, the pump automatically re-starts. When the operator releases the button, the brakes will reapply.
• The perfect solution to a common problem
• Can be retrofitted to any machine
• Built-in fail-safe coding, ensuring operator safety and control
• Testing and diagnostics are built into the system
• Does not rely on physical, mechanical components which stick over time
